Rear Brake Calipers

Could someone tell me if the rear brake calipers are the same across the superb range.?

i ask as when looking on eurocarparts there seem to be a choice of 2 left and rights to choose from!

if there is a difference, what is it.?

going by this i assume the rear calipers are the same across the range as it only states part no's Rear left: 8E0 615 423, Rear right: 8E0 615 424.

Rear calipers is used on all kind of vw's and audis. They should all be same. Only on B6 the rear parking brake turned to electric. Why do you need to change them?

These should last quite long. If you are changing the rear brake pads and can't get the piston inside, then the calipers aren't toast. They just need a special tool, to push the piston back in. Been there, done that.
