Noisy rattle from underneath engine bay when going over bumps

Hi,

I had an issue with my Fabia I, a metallic rattle noise when going over bumpy road. It was a nightmare for me to diagnose.

I put it into a garage up the road and they manages to fault find it.(sandown Autopoint, thanks!)

It was the passenger brake pad spring! the spring was rattling around inside the brake piston! either it was broken or I'd squeezed it too much so it was not holding itself tight enough in the piston.

It sounded like it was coming from the passenger side, really didn't sound like it was coming from the wheel.

just thought I'd put this on here in case it helps anyone.
