Fabia Headlight Replacement Guidance Requested

Featured Replies

I have a 2004 Fabia and the main bulb on one of the headlights no longer works. The highbeam and parking light bulbs are still ok. After looking at the owner's manual, it seems possible to replace the main bulb, without having to purchase a new complete front headlight assembly... but there are no instructions provided.

Rather than bother my mechanic with this, I was hoping someone could post a brief set of instructions.

Pretty simple mate, remove the plastic cover of the back of the headlight which is held on by 4 clips (2 at the top, 2 underneath) which you push down. Once that's off you have to move the metal clip which holds the bulb in place out of the way, to do this you push the clip in and then to the side and it should come off, then the bulb will be loose and you just remove the bulb, put the new bulb in and then repeat the steps but backwards.

So we are referring to the BULB not the HEADLIGHT itself yes?
