when you use the rear washer can you hear the pump running? if so are there any wet patches in the boot on floor etc? there are connectors in the pipe which pop off could be inside the tailgate cover or under bonnet ..... just look for wetness

Both my fabias have done this, bad design :/

whats the bad design? does the pipe come off somewhere?

It comes off at the back of the engine bay ( on the firewall ) you can see it and connect it up again ;)

+1 on this. I thought mine was completely knackered but when I was servicing my car I thought I'd have a look - its right on the firewall just being the air filter box I think.

Could be in 3 other places if not there (although mine was) see about quarter of way down http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/93030-rear-washer-jet-issues-help/#entry1150674

I found it easier to identify if someone runs the twasher while you look in the engine bay. If it is Ahere it is possible to reattach with one hand without removing everything, well that's what I did and I have tiny girl hands.

i got a face full when i did this ....

My pipe was facing towards the firewall so I escaped that joy. It was the easiest way to tell where the washer pipe was

Just be aware, I had this problem a couple of weeks ago. The pipe had popped off in the engine bay, so I connected it up and still nothing. I kept it held on for a few seconds to see whether the water just had to go through the system, but still nothing.

I then tried the second most likely place for it to disconnect, behind the passenger seat in the back. It was only after I pulled the trims off that I found all my electrics soaked and water running down onto the carpets. The footwell was drenched!

After hours of stuffing tissue under the carpets, hairdrying it, and using the humidifier, finally the carpet was dry-ish - with what seemed like just condensation remaking on the metal floor... while I was at it, I thought I may aswell check the drivers side footwell in the back to compare. This one was soaked too! However this one was down to leaking door seals, which also seems a common problem :/

Anyway, bit of a long winded story, but thought maybe it could help in some way :p
