I've seen a few posts about card removal from the doors, but I'm wondering about removing the trim from the door card.

On my Octy, there are silver coloured strips on each door, colour matched to the bolero radio surround, the strip above the glovebox and around the light switch.

Do the strips on the doors just clip in like the trim on the dash or does it need to be released from the back of the door card? I've popped by trim removing tools in at various points, but the trim is quite reluctant to move and I don't want to break it.

i was wondering the same myself, i plan on carbon wrapping the center console surround and it would be nice to do the door trims and light switch surround etc, anybody know how to remove them?

You won't remove those trims without removing the door cards completely

They are fixed using something like plastic rivets which are wider at the back, and need cutting off with a stanley knife or such like

Then you obviously need to find a way of re-attaching them - I used a couple of depths of double sided sticky tabs for mine

Like irishvrs I was considering a wrap or carbon dipping, but I don't know if I can be bothered with taking all the door cards off.

I'd only end up dynamatting the doors as well. Hmmm...
