I have a 58 plate Octavia CR170, why when I enter my details into Insurance, breakdown ect why does my care come back as a LTD edition.

Because insurers databases are **** awful.

Probably makes no difference to the premium but give them a phone if you need to check.

I had a hellish time with a Clio which was a 2004 model but registered on 31/12/2003. Damn thing never came up right.

My S4 saloon comes back as an Avant.

Whenever I get an online quote I just tick the 'no' option when asked is this your vehicle. Then enter it manually.

As stated it makes no difference as long as you enter the correct details. Don't leave them incorrect as on the database.

My car has come back as yellow before...
