Hi

My radio reception was very poor on mw unable to get any stations, either with standard stereo & a pioneer unit, as the aerial was looking a bit worse for wear I decided to change it, I've fitted a gen aerial but reception still isn't great, I can now get national stations but unable to get local mw stations, am I missing anything????? Pioneer unit fitted at the moment

The standard Octy head unit injects power down the aerial cable to an amplifier in the base of the aerial mount. The pioneer does not do this so you will need an in-line power injector.
