i am going to get it booked in to get them to check the seals on the injectors.

however on your advise silver i have been checking the oil levels, i have not/cant really tell if there has been an increase over the last few days however what i have noticed is a ver distinctive smell from the oil, like a charcoal with maybe a hint of fuel. not sure what this means tho

how much of a job is reseating the injectors, his issue sounds similar to mine, it has had the recall, the symtoms I have had were

poor cold starting, - only occured after a full service I had

engine cutting out - happened a few times when slowing down to almost standstill

the main issue I see is the revving of engine between 1500/2000 rpm is not smooth.
