Citigo S model have a clock?

Featured Replies

Afternoon folks,

My first post ever and potentially the most embarrassing!

Does the Citigo S have a clock anywhere? If it does then its hiding well!

Thanks :)

You should have two stalk type buttons on the instrument cluster. Left one is the one you need, press to show clock press again to show outside temp. Right one is for trip mileage. This is of course assuming the S model is equipped with this function, I am referring to my model, an Elegance.

So i left work to find I don't have any stalk type buttons available unfortunately. Any other ideas?

Thanks for your help

Is there a rocker type switch on the end of the windscreen wiper control stalk? If there is you can use this to change the display according to page 11 of the owners manual.

UK versions do not have this control on the windscreen wiper stalk. As said I have the Elegance model and mine has the reset buttons either side of the speedo at the bottom of the instrument cluster. Refer to page 10 of the owners manual a picture of version 2 of the instrument cluster, button 6 is the one you want. If you haven't got that then it is assumed the 'S' model doesn't get it as standard.

Edit.......just found my brochure for the Citigo. It shows in there that the 'S' model doesn't have a rev counter in the instrument cluster so therefore they may not have the clock with reset button either. We need an 'S' model owner to confirm this.

No joy on this one without spending money. The 'S' model does not have a clock function, either on the dashboard, or on the stereo display. The only way to get a factory solution to this problem is to buy a PID unit. This shows the time at the top right hand side of the display on the menu screen. Failing that, you will have to go to Halfrauds and get one of those naff stick on jobies. Personally I think this sounds like a damn good excuse for buying a PID unit!!

Dad's Citigo is an Elegance but I can't believe that a modern day car doesn't have a clock in it! That does seem like excessive penny pinching surely.

Our Citigo Elegance has a clock on the dash display -you have to scroll through the different displays to get it to come up (mpg, temp etc) using the buttons on the end of the right hand stalk -the clock on the PID unit is set separately.

Now that's interesting, mine doesn't have this feature and it's an Elegance as your sig suggests you have.

My mum's Elegance doesn't have that either.

Presumed it wasn't fitted to UK Elegances as they have the PID.

Ours is one of the first 5 door Elegance models delivered -the PID came with the car as specified. Do other people's Citigos not have buttons on the end of the right hand stalk? The stalk is same as on my Fabia save for not having the button to control the speed of the intermittent wipe for the wipers; it works in the same way.

Have a look at this manual here:

https://mediaportal.skoda-auto.com/resource/documentation/manuals/en/Citigo/05-2012/Manual/A00_Citigo_OwnersManual.pdf

it would appear that the S does not have a clock reset button (fig. 3, page 10, button 6) -so I assume that it probably doesn't have a clock.

How do you reset your trip meter ?

If I'm reading the brochure correctly you need to have the cruise control fitted (part of the convenience pack) as it includes the multi-function trip computer.

That would make sense -ours has all of the options available at the time of ordering except the sunroof, spare wheel and city safe
