Clicking noise when on full lock

Featured Replies

Evening all,

Had my tracking done today - have no idea if it is related but just reversing into my car park space on full lock and heard the attached clicking noise.

Any one have any ideas? It's going in on Monday to have the seat fixed, wind noise looked at, leaking door seals, so might as well add this on the list.

Usual source of noise when turning on full lock is worn out CV joints but that will be a regular clicking. That sounds more like a creaking, possibly due to the rubber on the top of the suspension strut moving.

Would that be something that needs replacing if it was the rubber on the strut moving? Will mention it to the dealers on Monday as well.

Not having much luck with any cars atm :( lol

All fixed now apparently, was a stone stuck in the caliper or in that area. Glad it wasn't anything serious.
