Red Oil Pressure Light Flashing

Featured Replies

I have changed the pick up pipe in the sump and it is still flashing and beeping. My gauges are reading (oil pressure) 1.5 bar at idle and 4-5 bar when driving it (Oil temp is reading 80-90 degrees. Will it be the sensor by any chance?

Could be, does sound like it, though it could also be the wiring

Ok mate thankyou. Its very annoying lol. Will check wiring tmz. Is the pressure and temp normal then pal?

80 to 90 is the same as the water temperature so it sounds right. Dunno about the oil pressure of the 1.8t, I'll have a look at the Haynes manual for you m8

Ok here's what it says, 2 bar at idle, 3 to 4.5 bar at 2000 rpm. Both with the oil temp at 80°c

Hope that helps m8
