Hi guys, to start with when I got my Furbie remapped the Egr valve was shut off in the map anyways, I'm going to purchase and Egr delete pipe (pointless I know) just for the simple fact I think it tidies the bay up a bit. My question is, when I put it on I know my eml light will come on, do I have to take it back to my mapper or can it be turned off using a vag com? Thanks

If you have had the EGR mapped out, removing the valve won't generate a EML afaik.

Why would it? The ecu does not 'know' it is there.

thanks for the reply, I just thought there maybe a sensor there so if it is removed it would bring the eml light up, thanks for clearing it up
