Immense grip, happy happy happy.....

Featured Replies

Just driven home in the sun, thought I'd take advantage of the dry roads on a few familiar bends.

This car has far far more grip than I have bravery!

Cannot wait for warm weekend trips to Devils Bridge at Kirby Lonsdale.

Had to share this with someone!

2012 Blackline standard.

Haha! Lovely progressive dry weather under-steer too - I loved both the dry days last year; around this time too!

Check your tyre wear patterns in a week or so now your are playing, just to be sure! a tracking change here could save you a pair of fronts!

Yeah read a fair bit on tracking. Will take a look at them in a couple of weeks.

MPG up too. Got 40mpg this morning. Helped by being stuck behind plod doing 50mph all the way.

Get a RARB best mod ever.

Indeed. If you think it's fun as standard..... :D

You need to change your profile pic in fact - it looks nothing like that now! :D

What rarb for a 2010 cr vrs?

Also thinking of Eibach pro kit. Are they any good on cr vrs?

Whiteline ARBs seem very popular: and what I've got on mine. They are adjustable, seem well made and cheaper than the rest. Transformed handling on mine!

Whiteline or Autotech are proven, and recommended.

Eibach Pro Kit is also a popular modification, to lower the ride height. Others go for a Bilstein setup, or the coilover route if that level of drop isn't sufficient.

Stickier tyres

LOL

A fair bit lower and 18s, the profile pic reminds me what it used to look like.

Now where can I get a vrs rear bumper in silver for a pre fl estate .........

I have just tested my new sc5s on a hill near me where wheelspin in 2nd was guaranteed on the winters or yokohamas on 16" rims and not the slightest squirm on the sc5s on 18".

Happy :-)

I have both along with some bilstein dampers and front ARB etc etc, if you want to see what the handling is like gimme a shout mate i'm just near the Leapark Hotel. :)

Cheers Grizzle.

Are they straight forward to fit?

Another question is will the Eibach Pro kit springs be ok with standard vrs cr shocks?

ARB's arent too bad to fit, the springs are a little tricky if your not hugely mechanically minded.

I ran the EIBACHS for a year no issues and it shouldnt give you issues either.

Ok. Cheers.
