Spare Wheel well

Featured Replies

Before I make a costly mistake can someone tell me if a alloy wheel fits in the spare wheel well or do I have to put a space saver in. I have the 14" Alloys and wondering if anyone has got a full alloy in the well without the carpet lifting or is it a space saver only.

There is a pic here of the steel spare in Dad's Citigo, looks like plenty of depth for an alloy to me.

Spare is 5Jx14

Take one off your car and try it.

I have a full size 165/70 R14 steel wheel in mine - there seems to be plenty space. But why an alloy as spare?

Ive seen a spare alloy on Ebay and was thinking of getting it and using it as a spare. Also I do a lot of motorway miles and night driving and wouldn hate to be covering distance on a space saver
