Flickering ABS dash light on Fabia TDi

When the ignition is first turned on, during its self check the ABS dash light flickers instead of being fully lit.

I now have some fault codes but not on the ABS unit which is fully working.

I suspect a dry joint on the ABS controller module. possibly on the can lead

Is it possible to examine the connections on the ABS controller board or is it a sealed unit?

Is this a known problem with these units?

Today the ABS light was flickering, closing the passenger door cleared firmly the fault again.
