Car loses power

Featured Replies

Hi new to this forum my dad has a mk1 Octavia tdi think its 110 asv engine code, Every time you go out the car starts fine accelerates up the road but as soon as you give it some the power just eases off, and doesn't recover sort of limp mode but no lights on dash. I scanned it for codes it came up with N75 valve. i changed this for a known working one checked all vac pipes sucked on vac pipe to make sure actuator worked on turbo no problem there all free and moving nicely put new one on and exact same problem. My next port of call was going to be the boost pressure sensor but i cannot find it where is it i know the inter cooler is stuck down the left hand side of the engine bay under countless bits of body work etc but surely they put it in a sensible place like on my VW where you can just get to it, any help would be really appreciated

Thanks

Ben

Search sticky vanes or mister muscle, tells you how to do it.

You'll have sticky vanes on the turbo

Sent from my dad's old HTC Incredible S, not a dodgy s3!
