I went up slack hill in the furby last night - it's not a direction i often take, and this was the first time i had been up in the Fabia.

Slack hill has a gradient of 1 in 7 and i was keen to see how capeable my torquey little car was, so i hung back from the mk 5 2.0 TDI i was following, and went for it, passing the smokey golf, avensis 1.8 petrol and storming past a Laguna DCI to peak at the top of the hill at 110 on the speedo :eek:

i was shocked as my T5 did about 115 up there and my previous M3 barely went past 100 !

Anyone else rocketed up the slack !?!?

Is that the road from the A6 up to Wirksworth? Quite a hill if it is. My Octy handles it a lot better than my old fiesta used to.

The road out the back of Wirksworth down to Duffield is a fantastic drive as well :rally:
