I've had my 12 plate VRS for 4 weeks now and vac'd it out for the first time today. Don't know why I lifted the carpet in the boot but was very pleased to find that I have a spare wheel instead of the stupid inflation kit :p

Didn't know I had a spare as I was told it came with the inflation kit so a nice bonus.

On the down side, I looked long and hard to find white roof/white wheels combo and travelled a 200 mile round trip to view the car then 200 mile round trip to collect it, the wheels need cleaning twice a week to keep them looking good

Loving it apart from the wheel cleaning though

Spare is a £50ish option.

I've got a red and white one and I love cleaning the wheels lol

Just happier with a spare in the event of needing it instead of the emergency foam thing. The neighbours are always laughing how often I wash my car lol

Correct.Standard on the vRS but option on the Monte.

nice to know, i was gonna keep my spare when my new vRS arrives... but if it has one now! well no need... I thought they hade deleted it.....

That would explain it then! I didn't know they were standard on the vrs as the wife didn't get one in her monte so I just assumed especially after the letter from skoda saying they don't come as standard. Lack of research on my part I guess lol

They must have removed it from my ex demo then as I had to brow beat them to swap it with a showroom model!
