Right. I've been searching the ads on Auto Trader for around 6 weeks now but I am being quite particular with the spec I am after.

Rosso Brunello

Beige Interior

170CR Engine

Saloon/Hatchback

DSG

My budget is £12k but it is impossible to find what I am after as these cars do not seem to exist.

I have come across one car but the garage looks a bad one following the reviews I've seen for them.

The only other one has the 140CR engine but I want the 170CR engine.

Even searching ads up to £20k and there's only around 3 cars altogether with the spec outlined above.

Does it matter? You don't have to go back there once you have the car.

That's the car I was looking at as it seems to be mint in condition and also seems to have Park Assist.

However, all the reviews I've read for the garage are negative and they seem to sell dud cars which is putting me off.

Have it independently inspected (AA or whatever) before buying?

well best go and have a look at it, looks okay in the pics but they can be deceiving, still a nice car and miles are slightly over average i would say, you'l regret it if you don't go and look at it and you never know its next owner could be you.

So at one point I literally went thru every

dealer website to search on their used cars!

Sounds laboriously, but u may find the car u looking for in there!

I love your Audrey. Its exactly what I was after (with the wood trim) but if you have a look at Autotrader there is not one with the colour combination with wood interior (they all seem to have the silver chrome interior trim). Trying to get the same car as yours seems to be like gold dust at the moment.

I think there are quite a few Russo 170TDIs

Some with beige interior.

But thats it!

Finding one in Elegance trim gets harder.

Then front/side park sensors neigh impossible.

And with Heated Front Windscreen + electric sunroof?

and rear heated seats?

I know the feeling mate :-(

Hence lost quite a bit on my PX :-(

Yeap - I live 5 minutes from Oldbury so was just going to have a look at the car.

I've narrowed it down to Rosso with beige interior, Elegance, CR170 and the DSG box. That's my bare requirements to be honest.

You could always get a 140CR and chip it.
