sun glasses holder

Featured Replies

thinking of buying one, are they worth it? Has anyone got a pic of one fitted? i take it they are easy to fit

cheers

I picked up a black one from a special edition Golf Anniversary on eBay to match the dark VRS headlining.

It gets used regularly and saves fumbling around trying to find your shades. It's not particularly easy to get your glasses out whilst on the move as your arm tends to block the view of the road ahead but you will get the hang of it.

Here's a pic of it in my SE:

They are expensive and rare but I think that they are worth it.

Are they originally from a mk4 golf? That's the one fitted in my Polo. It looks the same, if so they're available at the dealers for around £27 all in.

I wouldn't be without mine. It's easy to access and especially good if you've got expensive shades you don't want crashing around with other bits in your glovebox. I also see it as a security feature as anybody breaking into the car is more likely to have his head in the glovebox than up at the headlining!
