Performance check on vRS

Featured Replies

I think I need to take the vRS in for a diagnostic to see why its not running as good as it used to. I've been to local stealer and they said everything's fine (hmmn), so need a good second opinion. Not got any of the gear myself to see if anything is out of spec.

Heard on here about timing may be being slightly off after timing belt/water-pump change, which, now I come to think of it, is roughly when I became aware of change in power, but didn't put 2 and 2 together. Anyone recommend a good fault finder/fixer in the Oxfordshire/Berkshire/Hertfordshire area. Heard good things about Unit 18 (?) over in Milton Keynes.

If the car isnt showing any faults on the dash, VCDS may not actually show any up.

Take it to your local rolling road and pop it on and see what it makes. If its low, you'll probably be able to work with the guys there to assist you.

I always find mine seems to [feels like] gets a few more ponies after a full service :)
