Track rods/rod ends

Featured Replies

After futile attempts to get the tracking done after bush renewal it's been accepted that the rods/ends are seized.

Can anyone recommend a reasonable supplier of replacements- reasonable being quality/price/longevity if you get where I'm coming from. they must be able to cope with 3rd world road conditions (read: UK :-D)

Ta!

In all honesty with ball joints, drop links, rod ends, I think all the aftermarket ones are pretty naff compared to the OEM ones. Lemforder are the manufacturer of the OEM parts. I would stick with those, or OEM from TPS. They might cost more, but you'll replace them a whole lot less, I guarantee it.

so true with those parts. If you look at the none OEM drop links, ball joints they are naff and not up to the job TBH, certainly if you are after quality and longevity.

Well, that settles that then, I had just returned from getting a quote from TPS and just thought I'd question it before taking the plunge. You get what you pay for!

Thanks

Blather them with copper grease when fitting them. they'll never seize again.

Ball joints and track rod ends are about £30-35 each from tps if iirc!!
