I opened the fuel flap on the Fabia earlier to check the tyre pressures, and now it won't close/catch. How do I repair it?

In the boot pull the carpet on the side off the fuel flap and pish the cable back into the hole it sits in and hold in place with a small jubalie clip i had that problem anyways hope it helps

I fixed this for a lad the other day in less than a minute. Poor lad had already paid a garage £100 to look at it and they still couldn't fix it!

Yep the cable had just popped out. The garage had taken the arch liner out and everything for a look lol.

Wel i was lucky i worked with a ex skoda mechanic and he told me straight away and the jubalie clip was skodas actualy fix for it lol

Mines popped out a couple of times so I'll have to stick a jubilee clip on mine.

Thanks Jas. Very easy once you know how. Maybe some tape round it might be enough to stop it coming out if it happens again.
