All sorted, thanks

Nice T&Cs. I expected the first part, but the latter seems to suggest they are allowed to remotely connect to your computer to access content which you have previously "shared" via ge.tt and then removed.

BY SAVING CONTENT ON THE GE.TT INTERNET SERVERS, THE USERS GRANT TO GE.TT, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION GE.TT'S SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, A NON-EXCLUSIVE, PERPETUAL, IRREVOCABLE, SUB-LICENSABLE, TRANSFERABLE, WORLDWIDE, PAID-UP RIGHT TO STORE AND REPRODUCE SUCH CONTENT ON THE GE.TT INTERNET SERVERS AND TO ACCESS THE USERS' COMPUTER FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACCESSING THE CONTENT THAT THE USERS HAVE SAVED WITH GE.TT

Americanos - WDYE ?

T&T. Apparently, where Mit Romney based the IT aspect of his campaign.

Like to know how they'd access my computer. They can do what they want with the file.

drop box is a good one aswell

I like Skydrive. It's similar to Dropbox but I prefer it.

7 Gigs free, and a very fair £7/year for up to 25gigs.

Good iPad and smartphone app too.

Yup I vote for drop box. You can quickly get a good amount of storage. I venue got around 10gb free. Very handy for multi device sharing and backup of important docs

I use Skydrive myself, as it sync my documents from my PC and then they are available to me through live.com, and also directly on my phone too. You can set up one-off shares too. I got a deal where I get 25GB free (iirc).

I stopped using Dropbox after I found out non of the data is encrypted or sync'd via https. Might have changed now.

Having used Dropbox, sky drive and google drive, Dropbox is by far the easiest.
