Don't tell me they are making another rubbish fast and furious? The first one was bad enough, who keeps going to watch this tripe?

Staple diet for all car enthusiasts! One certainly does not watch it for intelectual thrills or rivetting story line :D

They are simple flashy entertainment - harmless fun.

They are making another after this one too.

I can't understand how car enthusiasts can watch it though, anyone who has actually sat in a car knows its complete rubbish, for instance how many cars have 17 gears? They seem to have a lot of gear changes on the quarter strip, plus when does nitro boost make the floor of the car fall out? Complete garbage! I watched the first two and the last one I kind of saw was the one where the drove through a tunnel, can't say more than that as I fell asleep and woke up with the racing through a cross border tunnel!?

Eye candy mate, eye candy:) As I said, do not try to find any logic in there, plenty of garbage as you term it but it comes with the territory and is intrinsinc in the genre...

And I think is waay more than 17 gears :D! Not to mention bottomles NoS bottles giving you endless acceleration - hate or love it, like marmite I guess :)

Fast and furious films are cool. Anyone who disagrees clearly loves bum.

My mate has done some of the driving of the mk1 escort featuring in the new film :)

Me and my mate love these films. We have beer nights (with assorted salty snacks made mainly of pig) and watch things like this with our brains switched to 'relax' mode. This way I enjoy the whole experience and believe everything I see for the hour and a half it lasts. I particularly like the bit about the hot girls turning up at car meets to hear men rev their engines. It's a bit like the Briskoda meets I've been to but they tend to have less women, fewer ten second cars and even less mahoosive exhausts. As for gear changes, I counted at least 35 gears in one of the films - the second I think. The yellow/gold Evo was the main culprit. I also love the fact that it takes a ten second car about thirty seconds to do the quarter mile. Pure class.

I'm hoping this franchise churns another five out at least.

Just cause you don't enjoy them doesn't mean other people can't.

Want classic? Vanishing Point has no equals!

I reckon people miss the point on these films if they try to draw parallels with classic films such as Bullitt etc.. They are meant to be crap and that's why I like 'em.

Mind you, if you're looking at Bullitt, just count how many times he passes the same Beetle on the chase scene. It wound me up as a child the first time I saw it. If a seven year old can see flaws in the continuity of a film, it can't be that sophisticated either.

I enjoyed the Film, amazing stunts & beautiful cars.

Over the top with the fighting IMO, but again amazing stunts.

Looking forward to the next one.

Best not get up and out the cinema too quick or you will miss a nice sequence at the end.
