Does anyone know where or who offers fairly cheap day insurance for young drivers? I'm looking to insure my girlfriend on my car for a weekend which we're away as I don't want to drive the whole time, however shes only just turned 19 and held her license for less than a year.

Any advice at all? Obviously if its going to be in the hundreds it's really not worth it!

I used tempcover.com once when I had to borrow a car. I think I was 20 when I did it, and it wasn't too expensive either

Also, it used to be if you did a full HPI check (£20), you got 7 days free insurance. Might be worth looking into?

You can probably get her added to your policy for a week at a time - it depends on your insurer but try them in the mix.

Will try that one thanks scoop, Yeah will give insurer a call too was looking to try elsewhere first though. Having a feeling they wont be too cheap at all!
