Is it easy to fit powerflex bushes? How hard is it to remove arms etc.. and wheres the cheapest buy?

I bought all mine from demon tweeks. They are almost local to me and they know there stuff so I go for service over price sometimes. Anyone who is half handy with a set of spanners could do it .. am sure there are some good guides on here.

So easy a monkey could do it.

Please, I prefer the term Monkeh as it doesn't offend our highly evolved primate cousins

Got all my Powerflex bushes off Ebay, found them to be cheapest.

I believe the front one are easy so yeah a monkeh could do them but the back ones (most go for cupra ones) are a bit tougher..

Pretty easy to change if you have the right tools and know how.

Seriously it's easy, minimal tools required and don't worry about the front bush, it's highly unlikely to fail, the console bush however will if it's the Origional design. Have a look in the Fabia Technical Guides section for a full guide.

Iv had a look avalon. I see you need to make a tool to push the bush into its seat :/

It isn't easy AT ALL!! ... I worked with a mechanic for 6 hours straight to change all the bushes (front, sway bar, back) ... It was an awful job; I don't want to do it ever again.

fitting powerflex console bushes is very easy. you need a basic socket set, screwdrivers and a mini blowtorch to aid removal of old bush

The front ones seem easy enough. Im a little worried for the rears though (consol bushes)

Maybe im thinking of the cupra bushes?

Then have another look as you don't need any special tools, that's the point. I had a friend in the trade, after a conversation about this he told me it was a ball ache without the correct tool and offered to lend me it over the weekend, I still went with Powerflex, no special tools required and I did it on the drive.
