Hi all, just joined the forum as I've ordered a Fabia Monte Carlo Tech 1.2 TSI and have been reading the threads about Maxidot. I've just had it confirmed from Skoda UK today via Twitter that all Monte Carlo Techs will come with Maxidot as it has the Bluetooth and Satnav fitted. Hope this is true as I'll be gutted if it doesn't.

Supposed to be taking delivery at the end of May so can't wait and will confirm then if Maxidot is included.

Excellent choice of car! Tbh even if Maxidot isn't included how much can it be in the open market? Although last time I used it was for a motorbike maybe 12 years ago so prices might have changed a bit since then....

Has anyone else ordered a Monte Carlo Tech, have you been given a delivery date? Just wondering what others may have been quoted for delivery times as my dealer's quoting end of May as they're being made in a batch so don't take as long as a factory order.

Just had quotes for insurance and it's coming up at £5 more to insure than a standard Monte so happy with that. It's actually not going to cost any more to change over from my current car, well chuffed.

It would be good to hear from any fellow Monte owners and how they're finding their cars, looking forward to getting mine.

I ordered mine about a month ago - still waiting on a delivery date. Dealership told me that mine has a provisional build week of 21 assigned, and that they *expect* about 4 weeks after that for pickup. So i am currently being advised 3rd week in june. Having said that... Provisional date can move forwards or backwards. So once in a while I call the dealer just to check in.

Interesting on maxidot - I posted a question on skoda uk site, they called me back to say maxidot isn't standard on the tech. Can u post the tweet you had?

They rang me too to say it wasn't standard but when I tweeted Skoda UK to ask did it come with Maxidot as it had Bluetooth I was informed it did come on the Tech. Who knows, all we can do is wait and see.

Ordered mine about 3 weeks ago and was told end of May and was at the dealers on Saturday and they were still sticking to end of May so here's hoping.

Delivery Update.

Just had an email today from the dealers to say my car had been built and was at the port awaiting shipping.

They're going to try again on Friday for a confirmed date then email me back.

Hopefully not too long to wait now, happy days.
