+10mph door locking

Featured Replies

Just noticed that my drivers door pin doesn't drop once above 10mph. The others are fine. Could this be a micro switch fault or just the way its been programed by vcds?

Its a setting you change in VCDS, might need to just reset?

Nice one, aslong as its not a fault ill just leave it. On an unrelated note ive noticed wheen i turn left and hit a bump i get a knocking through the steering wheel. Doesn't sound or feel like console bushes as they look ok. Any ideas?

It should drop, it has on every other VAG I've enabled this on. Does the door itself lock, but the door pin stay up? I think if you go into the CCM you can 'log' the different states of the doors - so open/closed, locked/unlocked etc. Might be worth having a look to check if the door is acting normally?

I did it on a Golf and Passat with a dodgy lock, and it would 'bounce' constantly instead of locking once.

The door locks when i use the remote/key or the lock button on the drivers door its only when i go over 10mph that the pin stays up.
