After watching 40 tons of artic coming towards me sideways in the rain on a roundabout at 2o`clock the other morning I decided to stop motorcycling after 40 years.

I now have an Octavia Elegance 2003 110 tdi with less than 70k miles on the clock and everything works except the air con compressor is knackered.

I spent 36 years engineering on submarines and at 6 foot 5 have acquired a numb head , I have been a diesel nut since I blew up a 1588cc TD Golf after a lot of tweaking and have been making biodiesel for about 12 years.I play a baritone sax in a Rythm & Blues band called` Stumpy Drives A Datsun` (voted the most stupid band name of 1992 by Radio 1)

My ambition is to compete in Britains strongest man at 70 years of age (15 years to go ).
