Bought some of the above to try instead of ultimate snow foam. When I put the first lot in my snowfoam lance it was a bit like cream that had gone off consistancy wise. When I used it the foam was inconsistent, from really thick to almost watery. Now I've got a nearly full 5L container that appears to have separated out with mostly clearish liquid with some milky coloured stuff at the bottom. Have I got a duff lot or am I missing something as I just used the ultimate straight from the container, adding about a couple of inches to the lance bottle then topping up with warm water with no problems,

I use Velet Pro PH neutral Snow Foam. I've used the same 5ltr bottle for a number of months now, and it has remained a constant colour (without going out and looking, its a pinkish colour) and a constant viscosity...no creamy bit! So it would appear that you do have a dodgy item.

I bought some last year as I was running low on Autobrites Magifoam and the VP was half price. Tried it on five occassions and each time it came out watery unless I kept shaking the lance vigorously. I gave up on it in the end and gave it away.

I had exactly the same with a 1 litre bottle. I presume it needs a really good shake first but I didn't realise that until half way through!

Its fine..Its very temperature sensitive and will seperate out in cold conditions..Just give it a good shake and it will be OK again

Mine did the same and I just gave it a good shake and all was well. Looks a bit rubbish but it worked just fine. Got to love snow foam.

Thanks for your replies chaps. Seems I've had similar problems to a few of you. Last time I used it I couldn't get a decent foam either so I used my last lot of 'ultimate snowfoam' when I gave her a strip down and rewax last week as advised by chris and that worked straight out of the container-usual regime of add a couple on inches of snowfoam to the lance bottle then top up with water, so I ordered some more from intodetail while they had the bank holiday offer on, so I'll probably give the VP one more go after giving it a good shake as suggested. If its still pants I'll use it on SWMBO Seat!
