    How did it go? From the photos it looks like you mounted your kayak rack on some pieces of cloth? Didn't it slide off?

    No the rubber clamps were solidly clamped down, this isn't a vehicle specific one its actually off our scenic. It fit well though the cloth was thin just prevented any rubber-dust-dirt contact with my paint. Was an amazing day, views on coniston were excellent!

    No, mines lowered 30mm :-)
