my octavia VRS door handle has started playing up.it sometimes takes a coupl of pulls for it to open the door,as if its not catching first time,i have to release it and have another go.and it is a bit vague when it does catch.

i have tried taking it off,but it seems to be held on by more than just the torx bolt in the inside edge of the door.

any help on removal or remedy of my dodgy door handle most welcome.

looking at fitting a delocked item,but i take it i need to do more than just change the handle for this(move central locking fuses????)

I think the torx holds in the lock be careful not to remove this completely. You can get access to the handle by removing the inside door trim panel.

bugger,i didn't want to take off the trim.
