Hi all. New to forum. Need help regarding my car. Skoda fabia 2002 (1.4). I was driving along going up a slight hill when all of a sudden car started to lose power so geared down and then lots of grey smoke flew out of exhaust. Oil levels were fine and water levels too. Made a rattling noise when losing power and wouldn't go more than a few metres without pulling up. Anyone have any idea what it could be. Thanks.

Is it a 16V petrol engine?
