Hi there, came across this site whilst doing some research last week about my prospective new car.....well that new car is now on the drive, after I got it on Wednesday....Octavia vRS (54 plate) in Silver.

I had an 02 Fabia 1.4 16v before, that I part exchanged for this new one. Had it for just shy of two years and thought with the warranty running out, service and first MOT due I might as well get a new toy.

I'm very happy so far, now I've just got to pay for it. :eek:

It's using some bloody fuel though!!!

Mind you I guess I've been spoilt with that 50mpg Fabia, I just had a little tootle round this evening and got 26mpg!

Managed approx. 35mpg on my daily commute (Yarmouth to Norwich).

Rather worryingly though I think the front spoiler may be grounding slightly on our fairly dodgy driveway. :eek:
