I had advise to use Plasti Dip by one of forum member. To be hones I never heard about it before but now I would say it is great stuff.

Spent about 2 hours to make my Octy face black and sporty ... a few pictures follow

Glad it went well. Very easy to touch up if there are any chips as well but it is less likely to chip than standard paint as it remains flexible.

I think I'm going to do the rubbing strips with this on my pre-fl octy. They are looking tired.

didnt bother with mine. just sprayed straight on

Yeah, bought from them, did not use primer. If you decide to take the PLASTI DIP off it will be hard job with primer under it.
