Does the engine management light stay on when there fitted to a mk1 octy vrs? Have fitted 1 to my bro's 150bhp 1.8t golf and it didnt. Just wantin to no if the octy will be the same. Cheers

90% of the time no depends on decat

Seems the cheap ebay ones have the second lamda port slightly out so light doesn't come on ;-) win win

Reminds me. My stock exhaust is shot. Someone buy a load of these, some Magnaflow 200cpi sport cats, V-band them up and make up some modular decat/sport cat setups please :p

I've got an eBay special decat on with a lambda spacer in. No lights on for me over the past 1000 odd miles its been on.

I did get an engine management light when I fitted my decat,but my shark performance stage 2 remap took care of that,it's just your luck if the light comes on or not.

Well should have to pipe soon then a remap i think. Well thats the start of it... Car wos ment to stay standard but cant resist to do a couple of mods to it
