Ive had a search and couldn't find anything but i swear i saw someone mention the ibiza front crash bar for whatever reason on here..

Ive fitted the front mount on mine like most do and did some chopping and cutting to allow room for the hoses. Just wondered if it would be a straight swap with the Ibiza's because they come standard on the cupra model i believe. Has anyone done this or every thought about it rather than cutting up the crash bar?

Is your cooler a seat sport one or one of the copys like ths?

no mines the proper one. See i thought it should bolt straight on and im seriously thinking of buying one if they do, but dont want the shame of pulling bumper off and fitting that to find it doesnt lol

Yer will be fine then the cooler should go straight behind it. You have to mod it abit but nothing like the fabia bar. When I bought one I had to cut a small hole off the mount as it was in a different place and I also cut the ends off to the same width as the fabia as it fouled the bumper.

I didn't think the Fabia one required much trimming tbh, although the ibiza one does look better and I will buy one soon so I can go widemouth

Just thought that it would be a lot nicer fit. Ive cut mine already but i think it needs that bit more. Think id rather hold onto it as it is and just get the ibiza one instead though. Cheers for pics.

I would have agreed before the pic but i definitely do now after seeing this haha. How much did it cost and are they all like this on the ibiza or is it the Cupra only have a crash bar like these?

I payed about £30 for mine off ebay and they are all the same on the ibiza 6l

Nice one! Just had a feeling it would be another oh people are buying these crash bars lets rack the price up like they did with the intakes and splitters lol. I work at vw so ill just get one ordered new if they arent too expensive.
