hi all.i am having a weird problem with my 52 plate vrs.when I change gear the revs rise slightly before dropping even though I have taken foot off accelerator as changing gear.never came across this before on any of my previous cars as none were fly by wire ones.car has just had throttle body cleaned and new coilpacks/plugs but was doing this before.

any ideas ???

Could be your clutch switch mate, do you have access to vagcom?

Agreed clutch switch is goosed. New one is only about a tenner from TPS.
