Wheel Alignment Values

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I spotted yesterday that my rear tyres were wearing a bit unevenly, with about 1 mm deeper tread on the inside than the outside (after about 11k miles). The edges of the tread also feel a bit sharper on the inside than the outside. So I'll be getting my wheel alignment checked. I know this is not an uncommon problem and I think there have been some changes to the originally recommended alignment settings. Is there a consensus here as to what the correct settings should be, and is this likely to be different to what 'the computer' will come up with in a garage?

My car is a 2005 1.9TDi in case this is important.

On the offchance I'll mention that I live just north of Peterborough, don't suppose anyone knows a good place near near me to get this looked at? I'm tempted to try this place at the moment (and have e-mailed them to find out what they charge):

Thanks for any advice :) .

Oh, and is it actually possible for the rear camber to be adjusted on my car?
