58 Plate VRS for sale - what price?

Featured Replies

CR 170 Race Blue £40k on clock full skoda service history. Very good condition apart from some minor wear to leather on drivers seat..

Ayone know what price they tend to go for roughly? Been offered 7.5k straight away from a car buyer co, but think i could get more.. I've rang a couple of local Skoda Garages to see if they're interested but they've not got back to me as yet..

Just been on autotrader now and I'd say its worth max £8,500 private sale coz there's a black 58 reg with 49,950 miles on the clock for £8599 but that's dealer prices!

Correct me if I'm wrong but that's what I'd value it at if it were mine, £8000-£8250 for a quick sale and still far better than those dodgy 'We Rip You Off Co' valuations.

Many thanks for the info... i've just had a skoda dealer ring me to come in and see them. I'm thinking of around £8000 to £8300 so that is re assuring.. will be interesting to see the dealer offer..

Will be sad to see the girl go as it's a pleasure to drive - a really great car for the money. Getting a brand spanker A3 2.0 150ps sportback via the Mrs Work to replace.. only slightly down on power but it's a 100kilos lighter so no loss in performance.

Valuation Reference:X3JC-LVU7-LFN2

Mileage:40000 (13/05/2013)

Date of Registration:October 2008

Trade In Clean£7,025 - £7,500

Trade In Average£6,575 - £6,975

Trade In Below£6,050 - £6,450

That's with no major extras, and I have put 08 year/58 when yours could be an 09 year/58. I think you will be disappointed with the dealer offer especially if you are not trading as I cannot see him offering anything above the average price anyway.

If your just handing it to a dealer for cash then don't get your hopes up. I remember ringing up to get a price on my 1 owner civic type r a few years ago know and the dealer wasn't interested in offering me more than 5500 for it. I sold it privately the same week for nearly 8 grand.

Thanks for the advices. Where is the valuation from Bullit? May seem the £7500 i've been offered already could be about right then. The dealer is a 30 min drive away from me, i may give them a call before the planned day to go see them to get a ball park figure..

Yes mine's an October 58 reg, no major extras. In excellent condition though, leather wear apart.
