Quick question; Does anyone know the unladen weight of the Fabia MkII 1.9TDi PD Estate?

Maximum Gross 1705kg

Max Towing unbraked 450kg

Max Braked 1200 kg

Thanks, George. I thought of looking there after I'd posted lol. I was trying to compare the bhp/ton of two cars, the Fabia with a remap vs an Octavia vRS without. I think I know what I'll be looking for for my next car. I won't need to look in the Octavia forums

Thanks again, George. What I'm trying to figure out is the Bhp/ton difference between a remapped MkII Fabia 1.9TDi Estate (Shark quote 140bhp with a remap) Vs a standard MkII Octavia diesel vRS hatchback (170). I think the difference works out at ~ 8bhp/ton (Kerbside weight)

I know nothing about the Octavias & Fabia diesels,

but recently did a Cylinder head gasket and water pump on a Passatt estate 1.9tdi 150bhp.a low mileage car that was a bargain till it started boiling.

I take it the chocolate impeller is common to them all.
