How much power out of my ALH, with nozzles and Custom map? WOW ok

Featured Replies

wanted more power from my 90bhp ALH

so i got my golf estate some new nozzles nice and cheap from the states

got the pop pressures set

fitted them and got a friend who knows his onions to custom map it.

So new nozzles, STANDARD turbo, G60 flywheel, and vr6 clutch total outlay £300

The result is hardly any smoke and this :- its feckin flyin

haha cheers, its doubled basically. surprises alot of folk in outside lane of motorway anyway, torque is immense around 70-90mph.

mpg is still good but can suffer if i want it too

I cannot work that graph out!?

Surely the green one is the before work and im

Guessing its wheel power? 63bhp at the wheels? So around 90bhp at the fly?

But then the next graph says 174bhp? Which would make me think this is at the wheels too?? But surely thats not right as that equates to over 200bhp at the fly?

So im guessing the graphs are a bit misconceiving!? As the before is wheel horse power and the after is flywheel power?

Whatever the weather its still a stonking result!

couldnt tell ya lol. All i know is its faster than my brothers 55 plate a4 2.5 v6 tdi, we had a rolling start race. his is 167bhp by the book so i imagine the final figure is actual

I want your map lol ;)

depending on ecu type, if you have .216 nozzles or bigger, buy an mpps cable and you can have a copy

you would need a healthy turbo though as my wee thing is running about 18 psi, but it is spike free though

175hp at the fly without an 11mm pump, with tweaked break pressures on a 216 and original turbo is achievable on a good day (just).

aye im told mine is on the absolute limit like, nozzles i used were Bosio PP764's
