Featured Replies

Anyone recommend any good refurb places in the Suffolk area/ Cambridge area?

Rough prices aswell if you do have them.

I'd like to know this too as I'm round that area. Preferably powder coated too

Anyone? Haha

Where are you from Eric?

I've had my last few sets done by Pristine Alloys in Milton Keynes but you drop them off at Stewart and Wisbey (the Mercedes specialist) in Little Downham. It takes a couple of weeks but if they are something normal eg. 16" vRS alloys or 17" Spiders then they have a swap service where you drive in and they literally swap your tyres onto their stock refurbished wheels, pay the refurb charge (about £50/wheel) and drive away again.

Haverhill bud. are you after powdercoated or normal wet spray?

After powdercoated really. Ah you're not far away at all!

I found a place in march, Cambridgeshire that does powdercoating for £40 a wheel. 'Cash' as he said haha.

There is a place in letchworth called letchworth diamond wheels they powder coat for £50 per wheel. This includes chemical strip and everything. Ive spoken to them before and if there are more than 2sets at once then they could do £40 per wheel

Also my parents live in haverhill so im over there sometimes will have to meet up eric

Does it also include tyre removal and re fitting? Probably not I'm guessing.

Wicked wheels do it for £55 based on a tyreless 7 day service and you drop it off/collect.

I'd rather pay £160 a set like you said crackers :)

I think that does include tyres removed and put back on but ill find out for sure
