more power from octavia ? !

Featured Replies

hi, my skoda octavia vrs pd diesel has had a sedox stage 2 remap and has 210bhp and was wondering if i can get any more bhp and torque out of it, is there any other way to increase power any other tunning places ? advice appreciated :)

You should be able to but it will cost and depending how much you want will depend how much it costs?

How much more do you need.

All deepends on the depth of your pockets, bhp comes at a price

More powwer stretches more parts, its starts at the clutch & progresses from there. Ive destroyed Geaboxes chasing power. If you purely want to drive faster & dont be offended by this but spend money on training you. Its the best upgrade you can get & its freely transferable to your next car, if you just want more bhp to brag about in the pub just lie a bit most plebs wont have a clue

Realistically it gets expensive from this point as you are looking at running higher boost, so a different or hybrid turbo, updated boost pipes, possibly intercooler and clutch assembly as well.

Have a look at the turbo upgrade kits from Darkside Developments.

If it still has its DPF in situ removing it and having your map tweaked "may" release another 10-15 hp and a drop more torque. In fairness if you are on a quest for bigger power then the DPF will have to come out if it hasnt already as the soot increase would kill it v quickly anyway.

There are alot of 300+ hp big turbo big injector 1.9 TDi's; Id imagine the 2.0 is probably just as if not more capable.
