Gwladys needed her first service on the variable schedule this week. So at 18700 miles she entered the hallowed portals of Sinclair Skoda in Swansea.

Simeon and all the staff were great. We had a lift into the city centre and a lift back when all was completed. Washed and vacuumed inside (first time in 12 months!), the old girl looked like new.

We also had a little sit in the Citigo as we are thinking of changing the BMW 1 Series for something a bit more economical!

I think Simeon must have read my post in the dealers section for White Dove Cardiff, where I had been promised some touch up paint when I bought the car in March 2012 for some stone chips on the bonnet. I never got them from Cardiff but Simeon very kindly gave me a set.

Having mentioned White Dove, I have to say that I needed to sort out a paperwork issue before the service and Neil Vaughan at Cardiff was brilliant - top marks!

Glad you had good service from them Mike. Mind you I'm not the only one to sing their praises, Freshacre and others are just as enamoured.

We've had a Citygo both times we've been in lately and have been most impressed. Sheila actually said that if we didn't need the towing capacity we'd buy one.

Must give them a ring on Monday about my service indicator.
