Ok so a little about the car its running a stage 3 fast road paddle clutch and smf and recently il be driving along in 6th gear try to change down to 5th and it wont let me select the gear like it wont even slip in but if I put it in 4th then to 5th it goes in no dramas.

So I can go up through all the gears no problem but from 6th to 5th it wont slip into 5th I have to actually go into 4th and then back into 5th.

Any help would be much appreciated

Have you followed the guide to adjust your gearbox which uses the locking pins on the shift linkage ?

There is a video somewhere on the threads if you search for it ...or plenty of old threads.....or google dieselgeek adjustment

also it is in haynes manuals
