Next I think some Eibach Lowering Springs. Then to save for an FMIC and a remap.

I want some eibachs too. Where you found the cheapest?

there's soapy different part numbers I've found though. ibiza 6l, fabia 6y and polo 9n with the pd130 should have similar load ratings though I thought but seems everywhere varies :(

How's it transformed the car mate? Was it easy to fit?

Seems a bit tighter around corners. But not drove it enough to see properly.

Not searched into the Eibach sprigs much yet. Just seen them on eBay for £190 ish.

That much? DPM has them for £162 delivered for my ibiza. which in theory should be exact same as your vrs (if that's what you have)

although the ones for sale recently had different part numbers to those that I require. which is confusing.

Ones I am watching on eBay are £182. Part number is E10-79-001-05-22

Seller is JJC Race and Rally.

Just had a quick look on DPM and they have 25mm Eibachs for £182 for my 1.9TDi vRS. They do have some listed for a 1.9TDi (non vRS?) for £172 and those say 30mm.

Nice one on the RARB - I love mine! Makes me wonder why I waited so long to buy one!

Interesting, I didn't know that.

They do H&R springs for £149 and JOM coilovers for £180. So I have a decision to make in the coming weeks.

Why buy lowering springs when coilovers are £180 brand new! ...for my old MG ZR coilovers were £500 cheapest! I love VAG modding!

Sent from my iPhone on the toilet!

The way I looked at it was with coilovers your getting some new shocks and springs as apposed to just buying springs. I love my JOMs, don't think they're as bad as everyone makes out tbh

The AP shock and spring kit is also quite cheap and lowers it a subtle amount :)

Why dont you take a look at gnj motorsport some off the cheapest by far id seen on the net

Is the difference really that noticeable Dan? If so then one of these must get bumped up on my order of purchases...!

Is the difference really that noticeable...

Yes, it is. Night and day. Just don't ponce about and get it straight

on the stiffest setting if you buy the Whiteline.

I had one on my previous car, a t sport yaris and oh my god did it make a difference. Felt so much more confident put it that way :)

Back to eibach, I've found 3-4places for 6L ibiza tdi fr) that sell the pro-kit springs for £162 exactly delivered, some more expensive.

I've messaged Damian at dpm to see if he can beat that price as it says on their website they will try their hardest to beat it. Worth a go :)

I don't want to slam my car, just take it down a bit and lose some of the arch gap. I've read conflicting reports on here regarding budget coilovers.

Mines on the middle setting :(

Yes mate I fitted the RARB then the APs a week later, the difference is amazing, much nicer to drive and corner speed is up by alot, feels much more stable when pushing on!
