Front wipers from Skoda Rapid 2013

Featured Replies

I'm looking for some new front wipers for my Skoda Fabia Combi 1,9 TDI - and then I saw the new Skoda Rapid 2013 at the local Skoda dealer, which had some really nice and "low" front wipers. The blades are only about 25 mm. high or so - and my standard front wipers are more than 40 mm. at the highest point. That's way too big!

By the look of it, the Rapid wipers fit right on my Fabia, but my local Skoda dealer says it's no go, because I have to install a complete new arm - and that can't be done.

Is there a solution for this, or is there some other cars which I can use front wipers from? (VW Polo etc.?)

Btw it seems like my front wiper arms starts really high up at the windscreen (on a Mrk1 Fabia) - can that be adjusted, so it sits lower down the windscreen somehow?

Don't know what other wipers fit but the arms can be adjusted as they only sit on splines so you can move them one tooth down.

I know when I had my old Mk1.5 Focus some folks done a swap over from the MK2 focus :)

Btw I've seen some Fabia's without a rear wiper. Can you get some kind of plastic stopper, to put in the hole where the wiper was? (rear wiper)

Polo wiper arms fit - 9n and 9n3.

I now have a Rapid, no need to upgrade :)

You can get rubber stoppers from halfords and glass ones off the net.

Or Ibiza mk4 facelift. Go to a breakers yard :)
