I've been lurking in the background reading some of the informative posts on Fabia 1's for the past few months - thanks to all the posters.

We have a 2004 Skoda Fabia 1 1.2 Classic hatchback with 122k on the clock which is the family taxi !! It has some of the familiar issues such as leaking rear doors (both sides) - nearly fixed - aaarrrrggg !! and the drivers side electric switch in the door lock has failed so we don't get the lights on warning buzzer or the interior light switching off automatically.

On the plus side its a reliable car and has proved cheap to run and repair - DIY not using dealers !!
